Bandcamp Announces ACLU Initiative
There’s nothing better than seeing a company use their platform for good. Bandcamp announced on their blog that they’ll be donating their share of purchase proceeds on Friday, February 3rd to the ACLU in support of immigrants & basic human values.
Along with this, the post shares links to albums from each of the 7 banned countries (and Mexico because, y’know…the wall) to “gain a further appreciation and understanding for the way music transcends all borders, and remember that, even in the darkest of times, there is more that unites us than divides us“.
If you’ve been craving new music, Friday’s definitely the time to take a chance on a new band (or 5).
What Bandcamp album would you recommend we check out on Friday?
